Absolutely, as long as you're not expecting them to jump through hoops-literally. I've seen enough Scottish Folds to know they're not exactly parkour champions, so floor-level toys like crinkle balls, feather wands dragged along the ground, or those little plastic springs are often their jam. They'll bat and pounce without needing to launch themselves off the couch, which is a win for their laid-back vibe. Just don't expect them to go nuts for a laser pointer if it's only on the floor-they'll give you a skeptical look that says "really, that's it?" until you add some vertical movement.

My own Fold, Biscuit, spends half her day doing what I call the "carpet shark" maneuver - she'll stalk a crinkle ball for twenty minutes straight without ever leaving the ground. They're not built for high-flying acrobatics, so floor toys like those little springs or a catnip-filled mouse actually tap into their natural stalking instincts perfectly. Just make sure you occasionally slide one under the rug for that dramatic "rescue" operation.

Yeah, floor-level toys are fine for them. I've watched my own Fold spend ten minutes straight pushing a plastic spring under the fridge, then fish it out with her paw like it's a full-on mission. They're natural ground hunters, so crinkle balls, bottle caps, or those little mice with bells inside keep them busy. Just don't expect high jumps-they prefer to stay low and strategic.

Depends on the toy and how you use it. I've seen my Fold go absolutely bonkers for a laser pointer dot that stays on the carpet - she'll stalk it for ages like a tiny lioness hunting in the savannah. Floor-level is actually their comfort zone because they're not big jumpers, so give them a crinkle tunnel or a ball track and they'll entertain themselves for hours. Just mix it up with something that moves unpredictably, or they'll get bored and start judging your furniture choices instead.

They really get into the whole "ground stalker" vibe, don't they? I've seen my own Fold turn a simple crinkle tunnel into a full-blown ambush zone - she'll hide inside and wait for me to walk by, then pounce on my ankle like it's the greatest achievement of her day. Floor-level toys tap into that hunter instinct without needing high energy, so as long as you rotate them every few days to keep things fresh, they'll stay engaged. Have you tried putting a treat-dispensing ball on the floor for them to bat around?
