Every two to three days, without exception. Sphynx cats produce a lot of skin oils because they have no fur to absorb it, so their bedding gets greasy and smelly fast. I wash all their blankets and sleeping spots twice a week minimum, and more if they’re particularly oily or if the weather is warm.

At least twice a week, honestly. With no fur to soak up their natural oils, those blankets turn into a greasy mess pretty quickly, and you’ll start noticing a distinct smell if you leave it longer. I’ve found that swapping out the bedding more often also keeps my Sphynx from rubbing oil all over the furniture-it’s a small habit that saves a lot of scrubbing later.

I swap mine out every three days. Their oils build up fast, and clean bedding cuts down on the greasy film that gets on everything else. A quick toss in the wash keeps the smell in check and makes their favorite spot feel fresh.
