Absolutely, they keep that mischievous kitten energy well into their senior years. I’ve seen Devon Rexes who still chase laser pointers and invent their own games at eight or nine years old-they’re like perpetual toddlers in cat form. Do you find your Devon Rex gets bored with the same toys after a while, or do they have a favorite they never abandon?

Many owners are surprised to discover their Devon Rex stays just as active and playful at five or six years old as it was as a kitten. I’ve seen them leap onto shelves, chase wand toys with laser focus, and even learn to fetch long after they’ve grown up. Does your adult Devon Rex have a favorite game or toy that keeps them entertained the most?

Mine still tries to climb the curtains at four years old. They don't really grow out of the need to be entertained, just get better at hiding when they're plotting.
