In my experience, a Devon Rex is often right in the middle of the action when visitors come over. Mine would jump on the coffee table, swat at shoelaces, and even try to join in on conversations. They’re social little clowns, so if someone new walks in, that’s an instant invitation for playtime in their book.

That depends entirely on the visitor's willingness to engage, because my Devon Rex treats every new person as a potential playmate until proven otherwise. I’ve seen mine bring a toy mouse to a complete stranger, drop it at their feet, and then stare expectantly until they throw it-it’s not shyness, it’s a test of character. If the visitor ignores the invitation, the cat will lose interest and find a sunbeam to nap in, but a responsive guest gets an hour of relentless fetch or chase-the-string.
