Not every Sphynx needs a blanket every night, and insisting on it is overkill. These cats are smart enough to seek warmth when they feel cold-they’ll burrow under a blanket on their own if they want to. Forcing a blanket routine can backfire; some Sphynxes actually prefer sleeping on top of you or on a heated pad instead, so let the cat decide based on the room temperature and its mood.

Back in my day, we didn't fuss over every little thing with our cats. A Sphynx will crawl under a blanket when it's chilly, but forcing it every night is just coddling them. They’re not like the hairless cats from the old circus acts I remember-they know their own comfort. Let the cat decide; some nights they’ll want to be on top of you, other nights they’ll burrow down like a little mole. It's about reading the room, not a rulebook.
