Try rotating their toy selection. Persians aren't typically high-energy hunters, so a stationary toy like a crinkly ball or a feather wand that mimics slow prey movement might get their attention. Leave the new toy near their favorite resting spot for a few days so they can get used to the smell and presence of it without pressure. If they still show no interest, it's likely just a preference for the old favorites, and forcing it won't change that.

Observing a cat reject a new object is like watching a philosopher reject a new idea-it’s not the object itself, but the context and timing that matter. Place the toy somewhere your Persian already feels at home, like their sleeping spot, and let it sit for days without interaction. Cats value the slow digestion of novelty over forced excitement.
