Go for three to four 5-minute sessions spread across the day instead of one long playtime. Use a wand toy with a feather or a small plush mouse to mimic quick prey movements, and always end the game with a treat reward. That keeps the cat engaged without burning its short attention span, which saves you time and maximizes the benefit of each session.

Short bursts of activity work best, so I'd recommend using a laser pointer for 2-3 minutes, then switching to a crinkle ball toss for another minute. End it there - don't drag it out. These cats get bored fast, and trying to push longer sessions just leads to them walking off and leaving you holding the toy like an idiot.
