Why does my Ragdoll choose one favorite person?

I’m still learning about my Ragdoll’s quirks, but from what I’ve seen, they really bond with one person who gives them the most calm attention and routine. My guy picked me because I’m the one who feeds him and sits quietly with him-he just gravitates to whoever makes him feel safest. I’m not totally sure if it’s a breed thing or just his personality, but it seems like they latch onto the person who matches their energy.
