As of Monday morning, the novel coronavirus has infected more than 18,093,891 people across 188 countries and territories, resulting in at least 689,625 deaths. In the U.S., all 50 states plus the District of Columbia have reported confirmed cases of COVID-19, tallying more than 4,667,957 illnesses and at least 154,860 deaths.

Here's a look at the 10 states with the most cases: 

1. California: 512,175 cases

2. Florida: 487,132 cases

3. Texas: 448,145 cases

4. New York: 416,298 cases

5. Georgia: 193,177 cases

6. Illinois: 183,224 cases

7. New Jersey: 182,350 cases

8. Arizona: 178,467 cases

9. North Carolina: 125,330 cases

10. Louisiana: 119,747 cases

Here's a look at the top 10 states with the most deaths: 

1. New York: 32,710 deaths

2. New Jersey: 15,836 deaths

3. California: 9,396 deaths

4. Massachusetts: 8,638 deaths

5. Illinois: 7,714 deaths

6. Pennsylvania: 7,223 deaths

7. Florida: 7,084 deaths

8. Texas: 6,878 deaths

9. Michigan: 6,388 deaths

10. Connecticut: 4,406 deaths
