I’ve had a Munchkin living with a tall, high-energy Bengal for years, and it works fine. The key is that Munchkins are surprisingly quick and clever-they adapt by using furniture and low perches to stay in the game. The taller cat might have reach, but the Munchkin will find ways to ambush and engage on its own terms, so they end up having a blast together.

Mine gets along great with my lanky rescue cat, but I had to adjust my setup. The taller cat loves to chase and leap, so I added low tunnels and cardboard boxes that the Munchkin can dart into for quick escapes and pounces. They actually play tag this way, and the Munchkin initiates ambushes from under the couch, so she never feels left out. Just watch for signs of frustration, if the tall cat gets too rough, you might need to redirect with wand toys to keep things fair.

I’ve seen it work well when you give the Munchkin places to control the pace. My short-legged guy rules the low ground under tables and chairs, so the tall cat has to come down to his level to play. The tall one gets the high spots, but the Munchkin stays happy because he sets the rules for wrestling matches on the floor. Just keep an eye on food and toy access, spread them out so nobody hogs everything.

My gut says absolutely yes, but you have to play stage manager. My Munchkin named Bean bosses around my lanky Siamese mix constantly - she initiates chase from underneath our coffee table where she can pop out and boop his legs, then scurries back to safety. The tall one can't follow under there, so Bean controls the whole rhythm. I scatter those crinkly tunnel toys around so she has quick hide-and-go-seek spots, and honestly she ends up tiring the tall one out first because she picks her battles strategically.
