Both of my Savannahs chatter at birds through the window, same as any Bengal I've known. It's that instinctive beak-clicking thing they can't help when prey is in sight, though mine are definitely more measured and less frantic about it. In the actual hunting, they are dead silent - pure stalk and pounce without a sound.

Both of mine chattered at birds as kittens, but now they rarely make a sound during actual hunting. They freeze, flick their tail tip once, then pounce without any noise. The chatter seems more a frustrated indoor thing than a hunting tactic.

Chattering comes and goes with mine, it depends entirely on the mood and the bird's audacity. When a mockingbird teases them from the fence, they'll do that rapid jaw-click thing, but it's softer and more controlled than a Bengal's intense chatter. On the hunt though, they go absolutely mute - my boy once took down a pigeon without a single sound, just a silent leap and it was over.

My Savannah F3 goes completely silent when stalking, but inside the house she'll do this low, guttural chirp-rumble at squirrels through the glass. Bengals I've seen sound more like rapid clicking, but hers is deeper and more like a growl mixed with a chirp. Outdoors though, not a peep - she's pure stealth.
