They're calculating comfort seekers with a playful streak. My Ragdoll, Luna, rotates between all three, but the laptop gets her priority because it radiates heat and guarantees my full attention. She'll settle on the keyboard, flick her tail across the screen, and stare me down until I surrender. The laundry pile is a backup for naps, and the lap only wins if I'm already sitting still with a blanket.

Always the laptop, no contest. Mine once curled up on my keyboard mid-sentence and deleted an entire paragraph I'd been working on for an hour. She didn't care. The warmth plus my full attention beats a lap or laundry every time. If you're typing, prepare to lose that battle.

Laptop every time, hands down. Mine once sprawled across my keyboard while I was on a work call, and my boss thought the "ffffffffffff" noise was a network glitch. They know exactly where the heat and your frustration intersect.
