From what I've seen and heard, an Ocicat would likely handle visitors better than a cautious Korat. Ocicats are bred to be social, confident, and outgoing, often greeting strangers with curiosity and playfulness. A Korat, being more reserved and selective, tends to take longer to warm up to new people and might retreat or hide initially. I think it really depends on the individual cat's personality and socialization, but generally, the Ocicat's breed traits make them more adaptable to visitors.

Based on my experience owning both breeds, an Ocicat is a far better bet if you have frequent visitors. Ocicats are bred to be confident and social, so they'll likely walk right up to guests for attention, while my Korat would vanish under the bed for the first hour. The Korat's cautious nature means you'll waste time coaxing it out, which is inefficient if you value your guests' time and your own sanity.

In my experience, an Ocicat is bred for sociability and tends to approach new people with curiosity, while a Korat often needs a slow introduction. I have seen Korats take weeks to trust a frequent guest, whereas Ocicats usually accept strangers after just a few minutes of sniffing.

Having owned both breeds, I can tell you the Ocicat will absolutely be the more confident greeter. My Korat treats every new person like a potential threat that needs careful study from behind the sofa, while the Ocicat strolls right up for chin scratches and treats. The Korat's cautiousness is deeply ingrained - it's not a training issue, it's their natural temperament.
