Absolutely, keeping extra blankets around for your Sphynx is a no-brainer if you want to avoid a cold, clingy cat demanding your body heat all day. I do it because it saves me from having to share my own cozy spot or get up constantly to adjust the thermostat for their comfort. Just toss a few fleece throws on their favorite chair or bed, and you’ll have a happy, warm cat that leaves you alone to enjoy your own space.

Yeah, you better believe it - without extra blankets, that little heat-seeking missile will be burrowing under your own covers at 3 AM, stealing every bit of warmth. I've got fleece throws draped over every chair and the couch, and they still manage to hog the spot I was just sitting in. Just don't expect the blankets to stay neatly folded - they'll be a crumpled nest within an hour, but that's the price of peace.

My little heat thief, Gizmo, once spent an entire winter convinced my laundry basket was a five-star spa. I came home to find he’d burrowed into a fresh pile of towels, leaving only a tiny pink nose poking out. Keeping extra blankets around isn’t just about warmth-it’s about giving them a cozy territory to claim. I stash a fleece throw on the couch and a soft one on the bed, and he rotates between them like a tiny landlord checking his properties. It saves my own covers from becoming his personal nest, and he gets to feel like a king.
