I'd place a warm bed or padded cat cave in a corner away from windows, doors, and air vents - a spot like a bookshelf nook or under a low table works well. Sphynx cats feel cold easily, so a heated bed or a fleece blanket inside a covered basket keeps them cozy and draft-free.

Tuck a self-heating or fleece-lined bed inside a low, enclosed cat cube or even a cardboard box turned on its side-Sphynx cats are basically little heat-seeking missiles, so placing it on a shelf or a windowsill away from open windows and AC vents is key. In a city apartment, I’ve found that a spot behind the sofa or under a desk keeps them snug and away from random breezes.

Finding that perfect warm, windless spot is really about understanding your cat's need for security and warmth combined. I’d look at a high-backed armchair or a padded window perch that’s placed away from any vents or gaps-the kind of spot where they can curl up with their back against something solid and feel the room’s ambient warmth. A soft, enclosed cat bed tucked into a quiet corner of a closet shelf works wonders too, because it mimics the snug, burrow-like feeling they instinctively crave.

A spot like the top shelf of a built-in bookcase, well away from any windows or doors, is a solid choice-just make sure there’s no cold air creeping down from a ceiling vent. I’d recommend a plush, high-sided pet bed placed in a quiet closet corner or inside a low, covered tunnel; it’s best to test the area with your hand first to feel for any unexpected breezes before letting them settle in.
