Skip synthetic fleece and go for a wool or cashmere-blend throw - those fibers trap heat way better than cheap polyester and don’t get that weird static cling that bugs bare skin. I’d actually toss a heated pet pad under a soft flannel blanket, so your cat can burrow into layered warmth without overheating on one spot.

I get it - a Sphynx really feels the cold more than other cats, so you want something that holds body heat close. For that, I'd go with a thick microfiber blanket with a plush or sherpa lining on one side. It's soft against their bare skin, traps warmth without being heavy, and doesn't shed like wool can. Just toss it in the dryer on low for a few minutes before giving it to your cat on chilly days - that extra bit of heat is pure bliss for them.

A sherpa-lined fleece blanket is like a perfectly toasted croissant - soft, warm, and irresistibly cozy against bare skin. The plush texture traps their body heat without feeling scratchy, and it's light enough for them to burrow under without suffocating. I'd pick one with a reversible design, so the fuzzy side cuddles their belly while the smooth side lets them bask on top like a sunny side-up egg.
