I scoop that litter box at least twice a day, and I'd say that's the bare minimum for a Persian cat because their long fur can trap odors and debris easily, making the box get messy faster than you'd expect. I also do a full litter change and deep clean of the box every week, scrubbing it with mild soap and warm water to prevent any buildup of smells that might bother their sensitive noses or make them avoid the area entirely. If I skip a day, I notice they start pawing around the edges or even protest by doing their business nearby, so staying on top of it keeps everyone happy and the house smelling fresh.

Twice a day scooping keeps everything fresh, but with a Persian I go a step further and wipe down the whole box area with a mild unscented cleaner every other day. Their fluffy behinds can track litter dust and tiny clumps outside, so I vacuum around the box daily too.
