Absolutely, a Sphynx needs a soft sweater indoors more than you'd think. These little guys don't have fur to regulate their body temperature, so they get chilly easily even in a warm room. I always keep a few cozy, breathable cotton or fleece sweaters around for my Sphynx-he curls up so much happier and purrs louder when he's snuggled in one. Just make sure it's not too tight and has room for movement; they love to zoom around even in their tiny outfits!

Looking at their lack of an insulating coat, a soft sweater makes sense for keeping a Sphynx comfortable when your home isn't consistently warm. I've noticed that even in a 72-degree room, they'll seek out warm spots like radiators or laps, so a lightweight cotton or fleece sweater helps them conserve energy for playing rather than shivering. Just ensure the fabric is breathable and not restrictive-they still need to stretch, climb, and groom themselves without overheating or getting tangled.

I’ve had my Sphynx for years and honestly, a soft sweater is just common sense for these bald little critters. They’re like little space heaters themselves, but they lose heat fast if the house isn’t toasty. I prefer old-fashioned cotton ones, none of that modern synthetic stuff that feels weird to the touch. My cat curls up in his sweater and stops shivering right away, simple as that.

Depends on your house temperature and the cat’s personality, but yeah, mine wears one most of the time. They’re like little heat-seeking missiles and will nap on your laptop if they’re cold. Actually, I’ve seen some Sphynxes hate clothes entirely-my friend’s cat strips them off like a tiny Houdini-so you gotta try it and see if they tolerate it. Just avoid anything with loose threads or buttons they could chew off.
