Look for a tall, multi-level cat tree with plenty of platforms for jumping and perching, plus dangling toys or a built-in sisal rope for climbing. I’ve found my Devon Rex loves ones with a wide base to prevent tipping during her acrobatic leaps, and a cozy hideout at the bottom for napping after play sessions.

You might end up with a shredded, wobbly mess if you pick a cat tree with thin posts and small platforms - Devon Rex cats are athletes disguised as lap cats, and they love to launch themselves into high-speed pounces. Instead, go for a sturdy, carpet-wrapped tree with multiple levels at different heights, like a 5-foot tower with wide perches and a hammock, because their active nature needs that variety to stay entertained. I promise, a good base weight and some dangling toys will turn it into their favorite jungle gym.
