Interactive puzzle feeders and feather wands have historically proven most effective with this breed's curious nature. A Devon Rex's ancestors were working cats in mines and ships, so they crave problem-solving and movement - try a treat-dispensing ball or a toy that mimics prey with erratic, unpredictable motion. I've found rotating two or three such items every few days prevents the boredom that sets in quickly with static toys.

From my experience, a simple crumpled paper ball or a ping pong ball in an empty bathtub can hold their attention surprisingly long-the unpredictable bouncing really triggers their hunting instincts. I’ve also seen laser pointers work well, but only if you end the session with a tangible toy they can “catch,” otherwise they can get frustrated.
