Placing multiple litter boxes in quiet, low-traffic areas across different floors is key in a large home. I’d put one in a corner of the main living space, another in a hallway or spare room, and maybe one near where you spend most of your time-cats like options, and spreading them out prevents long trips.

Putting a single box in a quiet corner of a seldom-used room won't cut it. I'd place one on each floor you use daily, especially near where the cat hangs out, like the bedroom or home office. Ragdolls aren't fans of trekking long distances, so keep the boxes in easy, accessible spots without noisy appliances or heavy foot traffic.

Scatter multiple boxes in spots where your cat actually hangs out, not just where it’s convenient for you. Ragdolls aren’t built for marathons across a big house, so put one near a sunny window in your bedroom, another in a quiet corner of the home office, and maybe a third in a hallway with a clear line of sight-they hate feeling trapped.
